9-time NCAA Division II champions Concordia-St. Paul are back on top of the AVCA Coaches’ Poll.
Northern State women’s volleyball is at the top of the heap in this week’s AVCA Division II Poll release. The Wolves, who collected 39 first place votes and 1,166 total points, went 3-0 last week.
Cal State San Bernardino strengthened its hold on the AVCA Division II Poll top ranking with a pair of wins this weekend against UC San Diego (3-2) and Cal State San Marcos (3-0). The Coyotes, who are on a 14-match win streak and 18-1 overall, collected 35 of 47 1st place votes and 1,170 points in Week 7 rankings.
Cal State San Bernardino became the 5th program to earn a No. 1 distinction in the AVCA Division II Poll release on Monday. The Coyotes, who were ranked 2nd in last week’s poll, collected 28 first place votes and 1,152 points to take over the top spot.
Concordia-St. Paul returned to the top spot in this week’s AVCA Division II Poll after being chosen No. 1 in the preseason. The Golden Bears, who are 13-2 on the season, collected 42 first place votes and 1,191 points.
Northern State continued its steady rise in the AVCA Division II Poll, taking over the top spot with a 3-0 mark this past weekend to remain undefeated on the season. It is the Wolves first appearance at the top of the AVCA poll.
Nebraska-Kearney extended its stay atop the Division II Top 25 Poll with four sweeps of opponents at the California Vulcan Invitational. Moving to 12-0 on the season, the Lopers collected 24 first place votes and 1,165 points to lead the way.

With No. 1 Minnesota-Duluth dropping two matches last weekend, that left an opening atop the Division II Top 25. Enter Nebraska-Kearney. The Lopers, who were ranked eighth in the preseason poll and fifth last week, went 4-0 at home to set up their ascent.
