Taylor has been with the varsity squad of Immaculate Heart Academy since her freshman year in 2015 when she played in 33 sets. That playing time rose in year two as she notched 2.7 kills and 2.6 digs per set per her Max Preps page. This season has been the best, as Taylor is averaging 3.1 kills, 2.7 digs and 0.5 block per set, all while hitting .361.
Her team is off to a 25-1 start to the year as well, as they look to avenge their loss from the 2016 New Jersey High School State Girls Volleyball Tournament.
A 6’0″ right side/outside hitter, Taylor’s Hudl page showing video of her play and other volleyball details can be seen here.
So far in 2017, Providence is off to a 15-8 overall start. They roster consists of four outside hitters and zero opposites. Of those four, one is a junior – meaning she will be on pace to graduate by the time Taylor arrives – while the other three are sophomores – meaning they will be in their last year. Those factors could lead to playing time early in her career come 2019 and 2020.
