Three Pac-12 players earned player of the week honors for their week 10 performances this past week in Stanford’s Kathryn Plummer, Washington’s Tia Scambray and Colorado’s Brynna Deluzio.
Taking home the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week is Plummer, a sophomore from Aliso Viejo, California. As Stanford has done all season to this point, the Cardinal had another undefeated week in downing the two Arizona schools. Her performance was key on the offensive end in averaging 5.43 kills per set while hitting .464 as this becomes her second award of its kind in her career.
Washington senior Tia Scambray garners the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week award after averaging 4.38 digs and 0.75 blocks per set for the week. Those came in big as the Huskies took down a pair of top-20 teams in USC and UCLA too. The defense was at the forefront too as those opponents hit just .198 behind Scambray and company.
Finalizing the trio of honorees is Brynna Deluzio, the Pac-12 Freshman of the Week. As the Buffaloes setter, Deluzio logged 10.44 assists per set and 2.00 digs per set for the week. She was at center-stage of a team that downed Oregon and Oregon State as the team hit .253.
