Class of 2019 recruit Halle Carter has committed to the Marist College women’s volleyball program to join the team in the fall of 2019.
Carter is a junior in high school in the Sunshine state who competes at a high level on the club circuit. On the club level, she plays with Top Select Volleyball Academy in Florida, specifically for the 17 Elite Charles team.
Video of Carter’s play can be seen below via her YouTube channel:
Marist College went 15-16 in the 2017 season and 11-7 as part of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) before falling in the postseason tournament’s semifinals. They had two setters on their 2017 roster, with one who graduated following the season and another who will be a senior in 2018. That means Carter will slide into a position with an immediate need come 2019 to join any other newcomers this or next fall.
I’m so excited to announce my verbal commitment to play D1 volleyball at Marist College!! Thank you to my family, coaches and teammates that have supported me along the way! Go Red Foxes ?❤️ pic.twitter.com/H9ocNUuQnc
