Class of 2019 recruit Isabella Clavenna has committed to the Boston College women’s volleyball program. A 6’2″ right side and outside hitter, Clavenna will join the team with her first year coming in the fall of 2019.
A junior at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas, Texas, Clavenna helped her school to a 36-5 season in which they made the TAPPS 6A State Semifinals. Individually she recorded 303 kills, 73 digs and 67 blocks according to her MaxPreps profile.
Adding to her prep career, Clavenna plays with Summit Volleyball Club and the 17 Nike team. She becomes the sixth Division I collegiate commitment from the team. She also owns a 7’11” standing reach, a 9’9″ block touch and a 10′” approach jump.
Video of Clavenna’s play can be seen below via her YouTube channel:
Boston College finished the 2017 season at 7-23 and 4-16 playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). They underwent a coaching change this offseason already with Jason Kennedy now taking over, with Clavenna representing the first commit recorded by VolleyMob that he has gathered. She will join a position group that is on pace to bring back one opposite (who would be a senior) and at least three outside hitters (who would be juniors) come 2019.
