Class of 2020 recruit Reagan Karlin has committed to the Creighton University women’s volleyball program. Standing at 6’1″, Karlin can play both pins as an outside hitter and right side.
A sophomore at Garden City High School in Kansas, Karlin helped to push the Buffaloes to a 27-11 season in 2017. Individually she totaled 387 kills (4.7 per set) on a .396 hitting percentage, 302 digs (3.6 per set), 26 aces (0.3 per set) and 25 blocks (0.3 per set) according to her MaxPreps profile. That was enough to earn Kansas Class 6A first-team all-state honors.
On the club circuit, Karlin also plays with Wichita Volleyball Academy and the 16 Green team. She joins two other class of 2020 commitments for Creighton recorded in the VolleyMob Recruiting Database, along with middle blocker Kiara Reinhardt and defensive specialist/libero Ellie Bolton.
Creighton is coming off arguably the best three season stretch in program history, going to a Sweet 16 in 2015, an Elite Eight in 2016 and the second round last season following a 26-7 season. Karlin will look to help keep things rolling for the reigning Big East champs come the fall of 2020 along with any returners and her surrounding recruiting class.
I’m very excited to announce that I have verbally committed to Creighton University where I will continue my volleyball and academic careers! I want to thank all of my family, coaches, and teammates who have helped make this possible! Go BlueJays!!! ?? @CreightonVB pic.twitter.com/jifC6IeLMR
