USA Beach High Performance Championships Recap

Athletes ages 12-18 from the United States and other countries competed in three days of matches in the USA Beach High Performance Championships. The age-group tournaments are part os USA Volleyball’s Path to the Podium program, which attempts to identify, evaluate and develop talent at the player, coach, and officials level

Eight Teams Move on To AVP New York Open Main Draw

In a stacked qualifying pool, only four teams per gender advanced through Thursday’s matches into the main draw. Seeds 2, 3, 5 and 9 made it through on the women’s side, while No. 1 qualifier Melissa Humana-Paredes/Sarah Pavan were knocked out. On the men’s side, seeds 1, 2, 4 and 6 advanced, including top seed Ty Loomis/Piotr Marciniak.

American Pair Newberry/Sparks Qualify for 2018 Youth Olympic Games

The two join a pair from Cuba and two pairs from Puerto Rico out of the NORCECA qualifier last weekend.

Team USA Qualifies Teams For 2018 FIVB U19 Beach World Championships

The 2018 FIVB U19 Beach Volleyball World Championships will have two of the top American teams come competition time from June 26 to July 1 – Tim Brewster/John Schwengel and Devon Newberry/Lindsey Sparks.
