With a roster that features seven seniors, the Washington Huskies need some incoming help for 2018. Part of that help will be Shannon Crenshaw, a class of 2018 commit from Orlando, Florida.
Crenshaw, a 6’3″ outside hitter who committed to Washington last year, currently attends Bishop Moore High School in Orlando where she is into her senior year. Last season her team finished 27-1 and won the Florida Class 6A State Championship.
On the club end, Crenshaw competes with the Top Select 17s team. She won the AAU National Championship with her side and will look to bring her winning ways to an already elite program at Washington.
As noted in the Facebook post from her club team, Crenshaw will also play for a rising Washington beach team in addition to her spot indoors.
Specifically for the indoor team though, of those seven seniors on the Huskies’ roster in 2017 three are outside hitters. Washington has three other outside hitters on the roster as well and assuming they all return will be joined by Crenshaw in 2018.
