Prep defensive specialist/libero Stephanie Der has committed to George Mason as part of the class of 2019. Der currently attends Chantilly High School and plays with Va Juniors Volleyball Club.
At Chantilly High School in Virginia, Der is a 5’3″ junior. On the club side of things, she specifically plays with the U17 Elite Team for the Va Juniors VBC.

George Mason is coming off of a 6-21 season in which they finished 2-12 in conference play. They only had two defensive specialists or liberos on their 2017 roster with one being a senior and another a junior. That means both will have graduated by the time Der arrives on campus.
