High school recruit Noah Platfoot has committed to the Ohio State Men’s Volleyball program as part of the graduating class of 2020 – and therefore the 2021 Men’s Volleyball season.

An attendee of Hilliard Darby in Ohio, Platfoot is currently a sophomore in high school. Last year as just a freshman setter, Platfoot helped his team to a Regional Championship and a spot in the school’s 12th straight state tournament appearance. From there, the team made it to the Ohio State championship match in Division 1, but fell in that match as the runner-up.
Individually, Platfoot’s efforts won him some accolades as well. As part of the Regional All-Star team per Yappi Sports, Platfoot was named a DI East Region Honorable Mention pick as he helped three others to awards on the list (with a pair on the first team).
Ohio State is the two-time defending National Champions and have combined for a 63-5 record over the past two seasons. Last year they carried three setters on their roster who are all scheduled to be back as senior, junior and redshirt sophomore – meaning all would be on pace to graduate by the time Platfoot arrives.
