Amaya Tillman, a 6-3 sophomore middle blocker out of Tecumseh, Kansas announces her verbal commitment to the Louisville‘s volleyball squad.
As a member of the class of 2019, Tillman competed for Shawnee Heights High School where she posted 237 kills for an average of 2.6 kills per set on a .347 hitting percentage during her sophomore season. In addition, Tillman put down 26 service aces, 107 blocks – 56 being solo blocks and 81 digs.
Tillman has racked up a number of awards in her short high school career including, All-Centennial League First Team, 2016 All City Volleyball Team and 2016 KVA Class 5A All-State Honorable Mention. Tillman helped lead Shawnee Heights to their 2016 5A State Championship.
Tillman is a part of the KC Power Volleyball Club, who’s team took fifth at nationals in the National Division in 2016 – at nationals, Tillman was named to the All-Tournament Team.
