Over the past week, Los Angeles Lakers head coach, Luke Walton, spent his time in the off season playing 6 v 6 beach volleyball at the Charlie Saikley six-man tournament in Manhattan Beach. Walton is a constant beach goer, playing volleyball at a number of six-man tournaments of the years.
On the basketball court and in the sand, Walton has some skills, which should be of no surprise considering he married former Arizona volleyballer, Bre Ladd. Below you can see Walton’s team (they are shirtless) playing against a team that conveniently are wearing Lakers uniforms.

Just a couple of year’s ago, Walton was challenged by NBA star, Kevin Love, to compete in a volleyball match – you can see the video here. Love did this in retaliation to Walton saying he was the “Charles Barkley” of volleyball.
Walton will surely spend more time on the beach showing off his sick beach volleyball skills until the NBA season begins to kick off this fall.
