Class of 2020 middle blocker/right side Audrey Douglas has committed to the Auburn University women’s volleyball program. Douglas is a 6’4″ native of Oviedo, Florida.
Douglas is currently a sophomore at Hagerty High School, who went 21-3 and 9-0 in district play this past season. The Huskies also made it to the 2017 8A FHSAA Girls Volleyball State Semifinals along the way.
Individually, Douglas recorded 223 kills (2.9 per set) on a .363 hitting percentage, 88 blocks (1.1 per set) and 31 digs (0.4 per set) according to her MaxPreps profile.
Auburn is fresh off of a 15-12 season in which they went 8-10 in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in 2017. The only players who make up the roster for the Tigers that would be on pace to join Douglas on the team come the fall of 2020 would be freshmen this past season. At middle blocker that would include two while the Tigers had no opposites on their roster.
