After the teams for the 2018 Montreux Volley Masters were announced back in February, the match schedule is now set for the tournament that will take place from September 4-9 in Switzerland. Coming shortly before the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championships, the competition will give teams an opportunity for practice matches.
The teams slated to compete are Brazil, China, Russia, Italy, Turkey, Cameroon, Poland and Switzerland. Cameroon is making history as the first African nation to compete at the tournament.

After pool play ends on the 7th of September (Friday), the semi-final matches will be on Saturday and the finals on Sunday.
In 2017, the Brazilians came out on top for the seventh time in history, defeating Germany in the final 3:0. China, the 2016 champions and Olympic gold medalists, won bronze after beating Argentina 3:1.
