Class of 2019 outside hitter Bryce Behrendt has verbally committed to the Ball State University men’s volleyball program. That would mean Behrendt would be set for his freshman season as a Cardinal in 2020.

Behrendt is a 6’4″ senior at Germantown High School in Wisconsin, where he began attending in 2017. Prior to that, he was enlisted at Homestead High School from 2015-2017. Behrendt was an all-state first-team pick as a junior when his over 400 kills helped lead the team to a state semifinals appearance. He was also second on the team in digs.

In terms of club ball, Behrendt plays with Milwaukee Volleyball Club. In 2017 at the 16 Open for the Boys’ Junior National Championship (BJNC), he helped his team to a third-place finish.

Ball State finished the season 18-11 overall and 10-4 as a member of the MIVA en route to a final ranking of #11 in the VolleyMob Men’s Top 20 Power Rankings. They’re also slated as #16 to open up in the Way-Too-Early edition for 2019.
