Class of 2020 recruit Noelle Piatas has committed to the University of Miami (Florida) women’s volleyball program. A native of Plano, Texas, Piatas stands at 6’1″ and plays outside hitter.
An attendee of Plano Prestonwood Christian Academy, Piatas earned a spot on the 2017-18 Volleyball Girls 6A All-District Team. The high school sophomore was one of just three underclassmen on the 12 player first-team.
Piatas also continues her play onto the club side, where she is part of the Texas Advantage Volleyball Club. Specifically, she plays for the TAV 17 Black team.
Miami (FL) finished the 2017 season at 22-6 and 15-5 playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). They had six outside hitters on last year’s roster, which consisted of two seniors, two juniors and two freshmen. That means just the two who were freshmen are on pace to be returners from the squad to join Piatas from the roster come 2020.
