Class of 2020 outside hitter and defensive specialist Jill Pressly has verbally committed to the DePaul University women’s volleyball program.
Pressly is currently a junior at Plano West High School in Texas. As a sophomore she recorded 155 kills (2.9 per set) on a .205 hitting percentage, 99 digs (1.8 per set), 15 aces (0.3 per set) and 8 blocks (0.1 per set) according to her MaxPreps page. That led to her being Texas All-State 1st Team in addition to District 6-6A MVP.
Club wise, Pressly plays with Excel Volleyball. Last season she was with Excel 16 N Red. She was the team MVP in the program for the 11s, 13s, 14s and 15s teams as well. Highlights of her play can be seen below via YouTube:
Additionally, Pressly stands at 5’11” with a 7’6″ standing reach and a 9’6″ approach jump.
DePaul is off to a 2-9 start to the 2018 season as they start up Big East play this week. In 2017, they finished 9-22 overall and 2-16 in Big East action.
