Class of 2022 right side hitter Allie Sczech has verbally committed to the Baylor University women’s volleyball program.

Sczech will be starting her first year in high school this upcoming fall semester, and is enrolling at George Ranch High School in Richmond, Texas. Standing at 6’2″, Sczech’s club career comes with Houston Skyline Juniors and the 15 Royal team coached by Jen Woods. With the club she has won the 2017 13 Royal Skyline Award, was a 2017 GJNC 13 American Bronze Medalist and the 2018 14 Royal Breakout Award.

As a classic opposite hitter, Sczech swings with her left hand. She owns a 7’10” standing reach, a 9’7″ block touch and a 9’11” approach jump that is fueled by a 21 inch standing vertical and a 25 inch approach leap.

“I knew right away that Baylor was where I wanted to be,” Sczech told VolleyMob. “The coaches and players were such a genuine tight knit family and the strong Christian culture on campus really made me feel at home.  I can’t wait to be a part of it.”

Baylor finished the 2017 season at 24-7 overall and 13-3 in the Big 12, good for a second place finish. They also earned a top 16 seed in the NCAA Tournament and made the event’s second round.

If you have or know of a commitment, email VolleyMob information at [email protected].
