Class of 2020 outside hitter Aliyah Carter has verbally committed to the Kansas State University women’s volleyball program.
Carter is currently in her junior season at Wahlert Catholic High School in Dubuque, Iowa. She was initially at Hempstead High School, who she led to the state tournament before transferring to Wahlert. Then in 2017 as a sophomore, Carter helped the team win its second straight Iowa Girls Class 4A State titles.
On the club side of things, Carter plays with Adrenaline Volleyball Academy and the Adrenaline 17 Rox team. Some video of her play can be seen here. Her recruiting profile with even more highlights can also be seen here.
Kansas State is off to a 10-3 start to the 2018 season with an 0-2 mark to open up Big 12 play. They’re also ranked #25 in the latest VolleyMob Top 25 Power Rankings. The win total already matches their 2017 output, when they went 10-19 and 3-13 as a member of the Big 12.
I’m extremely blessed to announce my verbal commitment to play volleyball and continue my academic career at Kansas State University. Thanks to my family, friends and all the coaches that have gotten me this far.
