The AVCA has announced their selections for NAIA All-American teams following the conclusion of the season.
Highlighting the list is the NAIA Championship MVP, Lindsey Wilson’s Makenzie Montano as she earned a spot on the First-Team List. She was the only player from her national championship team to make the first-team. Being named to the second-team from Lindsey Wilson are Grace Blomstedt and Paulina Sobolewski. The runners-up, Dordt College, placed two on the first-team list – Ema Altena and Jamie Gesink.
The Freshman of the Year comes out of Park in outside hitter, Nada Meawad. On the year, Meawad posted 473 kills for an average of 4.1 kills per set on a .318 hitting clip. Additionally, Meawad recorded 54 aces, 37 blocks and 320 digs on the year.
