Saint Francis Men to Face Difficult Non-Conf. Slate (Full Schedule)

Coming off a season in which they went 16-15 and ended the season receiving votes in the final coaches poll, the Saint Francis Men’s Volleyball team is looking for an even stronger season in 2018. That path has been set featuring a brutal non-conference schedule with eight matches against preseason ranked opponents. That precedes EIVA play where six matches against three teams include opponents ranked or receiving votes.

The season starts on January 4 against #11 CSUN, starting an early run of ranked matches that also includes #8 Stanford, (RV) UC Santa Barbara and #2 Long Beach State. A few other non-conference matches come in between the next ranked opponent with road matches against #6 Lewis, #13 Loyola-Chicago and #1 Ohio State. A duo more of matches come before yet another ranked opponent in #14 Ball State.

Although a few non-conference matches await in the middle of conference action, including another match against #1 Ohio State, EIVA play starts up on February 10 vs. #9 Penn State. They’ll play them twice, along with other conference members in Harvard, Sacred Heart, Charleston, (RV) George Mason, (RV) Princeton and NJIT.

Senior day comes on Saturday, April 14 against Princeton in the regular season finale. They’ll be home the night before too for a precursor with NJIT.
