Teams from four countries will vie for the Qinzou Three Star women’s medals late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning ET. Italy’s Marta Menegatti/Viktoria Orsi Toth, Americans Kelly Claes/Sarah Sponcil, Russia’s No. 7 Ekaterina Birlova/Evgenia Ukolova and Brazil’s No. 16 Ana Patricia Silva Ramos/Rebecca Cavalcanti Barbosa Silva make up the final four.

While the men finished up qualifying action, the women got rolling in the main draw with 32 pool play matches, crowning eight champions, including German qualifiers Anna Behlen/Sarah Schneider and Americans Kerri Walsh Jennings/Nicole Branagh.
Country Quota, Qualification Rounds Set Up Espinho Main Draw
One hundred teams (55 men’s and 45 women’s) made their way to Espinho, Portugal for a chance to compete in the FIVB Four Star event this week. After country quota and qualifying matches, the 32-team fields per gender are set.
