Class of 2019 recruit Nyah Ellis has verbally committed to the University of California, Davis women’s volleyball program. A defensive specialist/libero, Ellis would join the program for the fall of 2019 as a true freshman.
This fall will mark the start of the senior year for Ellis, who attends Colleyville Heritage High School in Texas. In her junior season she helped the team to a 39-8 record and a spot in the regional finals for 5A Regions 1 & 3. Individually, according to her MaxPreps profile, she logged 58 digs and 12 assists on the competitive roster.
Ellis also continues her play on the club circuit with Summit Nitro Volleyball Club (SNVC), most recently the Summit 17 Nike Blue team. Her club profile can be seen here.
