Top-ranked BYU earned its 10th victory of the season with a sweep of Weber State on Saturday afternoon in Ogden, Utah. The Cougars were dominant in the match, outdoing the Wildcats in hitting percentage (.386 to .089).

Weber State came out of the gate strong, jumping ahead of BYU, 4-1. The Cougars fought back to tie it up, 9-9, and used a 4-0 run to take the lead. BYU controlled the remainder of the way to notch a 25-18 win.
The Cougars continued to possess the momentum in the second set, going up 10-4 over the Wildcats. BYU never trailed and used a 6-0 rally to claim the 25-18 victory.
BYU scored 7-straight points to break through a stretch of 11 ties in the third set. The Cougars maintained their advantage and registered the sweep with a 25-16 win.
The top 4 offensive producers for the Cougars registered hitting percentages above .400, including McKenna Miller (14 kills, .455 attack percentage), Roni Jones-Perry (13 kills, .417 attack percentage), Kennedy Eschenberg (8 kills, .400 attack percentage) and Heather Gneiting (7 kills, .778 attack percentage). Lynd Haddock-Eppich posted 42 assists, while Mary Lake notched 10 digs.
Megan Gneiting, older sister of BYU freshman Heather Gneiting, led the Wildcats with 8 kills. Ashlyn Power distributed 26 assists, while Rylin Roberts and Andrea Hale each logged 4 digs.
