The 2018 USA National Beach Tour, Siesta Key, Florida has been selected as the location to host the championships that will take place from July 19-24. The tournament is expected to bring in more than 400 boys’ and girls’ teams ranging from ages 10-18 from around the country.

The tour is set to being in February that will begin their qualification tournaments for the championships. The top four pairings from each division of the Beach National Qualifier (BNQ) and a select number of bid winners from the Beach Regional Qualifiers (BRQ) will earn spots in the national championships. BNQ winners will move to the National Open Division while BRQ events will earn Regional Division Bids to the championships.

All three division for 12U and 16U divisions will compete from July 19-21 while 14U and 18U will compete from July 22-24.

Original pairings don’t have to compete in the championships, as just one player that had originally qualified needs to be in attendance of the tournament at the National Open or Regional Divisions. Much like in indoor club volleyball, the Patriot Division has been established to allow participants who do not qualify to compete at the national tournament.

This is the second season in a row that the national beach championships will be returning to Siesta Key following a successful 2017 event that brought in nearly 450 teams.

The adult USA National Beach Tour Championship site and dates will be announced in the coming weeks.
