Georgia has made the addition of a class of 2019 recruit as middle blocker/outside hitter Londyn Gray has committed to the program. Gray is a current junior at Weatherford High School in Texas in addition to a member of the Club Texas Volleyball program.

Standing at 6’1″, Gray was a force at the middle blocker position this past season for Weatherford. According to her MaxPreps page, she totaled 334 kills (2.6 per set) while hitting an electric .463 for her junior season. She also tacked on 98 digs, 92 blocks and 51 aces on a team that went 41-7 for the year.
Gray was also a part of the District 3-6A Academic All-District Team away from the high school court in addition to playing with the Club Texas Volleyball program.
While Gray stands as a middle blocker more so in high school, she could also make a transition to outside hitter in college as both will likely be on the table. At the moment, Georgia – who is 18-9 (8-6, SEC) this season – has four middle blockers and five outside hitters. Of that group, five are juniors or above – meaning they would be on pace to graduate by the time Gray arrives in search of early playing time.
