A 6’1″ middle blocker and outside hitter, O’Farrell resides in the Atlanta, Georgia area. Her high school, North Gwinnett, sits in Suwanee, Georgia, where as a sophomore O’Farrell logged 188 kills (1.7 per set), 78 digs and 21 blocks on a team that went 41-8 and made it to the Elite 8 of the Atlanta State tournament.
Currently in her 2017-2018 season, O’Farrell has helped the team to a strong start of 19-4 (and counting) as she is putting up over three kills a dig and more than half a block in each set of play for her side.
On the club side of things, O’Farrell plays with the A5 Mizuno Volleyball Club, and was with the A5 16 squad last season. Her club page, (seen here) notes her as owning a 120.0″ approach jump as she used it to earn AVCA Phenom honors in 2015 and 2016.
Currently, Ohio has a combination of 10 players at the middle blocker and outside hitter position. By the time O’Farrell is set to arrive however, the Bobcats are on pace to lose four of those athletes while four others will be in their last season in Athens.
