Highly touted recruit Taylor Landfair has committed to the University of Minnesota as part of the class of 2020. A 6’4″ sophomore in high school, Landfair is a six rotation pin who can play from both the left and right side as an outside hitter or opposite.
A native of Plainfield, Illinois, Landfair attends Plainfield Central High School. This was her second season of varsity play as she once again posted staggering numbers according to her MaxPreps profile in which she notched over four kills per set both seasons to pair with over two digs per set.
In 2016 she was named a MaxPreps Underclass All-American. Outside of her high school, Landfair participates with the Sports Performance Volleyball Club.
Minnesota finished 28-6 (15-5 Big Ten) in 2017 and made the Sweet 16 after two straight seasons of Final Four berths. They have six outside hitters and an opposite on their roster, but there shouldn’t be total carry over by the time Landfair arrives on campus.
