2019 Recruit Sierra Caffo Commits to LSU Beach

Sierra Caffo, a class of 2019 recruit from San Diego, California, has committed to LSU Beach. As a soon-to-be junior in high school, Caffo will join the Tigers for the 2019-2020 season in a couple of years.

Currently Caffo is part of 692 West Beach Volleyball Club, which consistently produces Division I talent since 2012 including Natalie Coy (TCU) and Pani Napoleon (Hawaii) in 2017. Some of Caffo’s highlights on the beach can be seen below, via her YouTube page:

In addition to her ventures in the sand, Caffo also plays indoor at Point Loma High School in San Diego, California. As a sophomore this past season, she totaled 198 kills (2.3 per set) with 70 digs, 46 blocks and 15 aces. Playing as an outside hitter on the court, Caffo helped her team go 24-13 and 7-3 in league play.

LSU finished the 2017 Beach season with a 27-8 record before faltering in the NCAA Championships and ending the year ranked sixth. It was the second consecutive 20-win season for the Tigers.
