Coming off a season in which they were 14-14 and ranked 11th in the country out of a tough MPSF, USC will be looking for improvement and a chance at the NCAA Tournament in 2018. The path is set for those goals, as the Trojans are set to face
The season opener takes place at home on January 2 against Princeton to help them get ready for a trip to Hawaii. USC will take part in three matches in the Texaco Rainbow Warrior Classic with Hawaii (finished last year ranked 4th) on January 6 as the true lone test.
They’re back in California on January 12 to play at UC Irvine (5th) before they host UC Santa Barbara (RV) and the Pac-12/Big 10 Challenge with defending National Champion Ohio State (1st) and Penn State (10th).
The matchups vs. teams who finished last year in the top 10 continue at Long Beach State (3rd) on January 27 and Lewis (7) on February 2. A road test at Loyola Chicago (14) the next day.
MPSF play kicks off on February 8 vs. Stanford (9) and two days later vs. BYU (2). They eventually play both teams twice, in addition to a pair of matches with other conference foes in Pepperdine (8), UCLA (6), Concordia and Grand Canyon (13). They also have a second match with UC Irvine on March 24 in the midst of conference action.
Senior day comes on March 31 against rival UCLA while the regular season finale occurs at Concordia on April 7 before postseason play. The schedule in its entirety can be seen below:
