West, Hillegas And McCoy Earn Big 12 Weekly Honors

Samara West and Hali Hillegas of Iowa State along with Cat McCoy of Texas earn Big 12 Volleyball Weekly Awards after posting league-topping numbers. This marks the third-straight nod for Hillegas while West and McCoy each tally their first-ever weekly honors.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Samara West, Iowa State, RJr., RS, Omaha, Nebraska/Omaha North

• Led the Cyclone attack in the victory over No. 5 Texas on Saturday, posting a career-best 16 kills at a .400 hitting percentage.
• Was her seventh match of the season hitting at least .400.
• Averaged a .449 hititng percentage over the week, the best among Big 12 players who competed in two matches.
• In the road win at Oklahoma on Wednesday, she recorded 11 kills at a .526 hitting clip.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Cat McCoy, Texas, Jr., L, Southlake, Texas/Southlake Carroll

• Set a Big 12 season-high 29 digs in a five set match at Iowa State over the weekend, which also stands tied for the second-most this season among all matches.
• Notched 42 digs over the week, good for 5.25 digs per set.
• Averaging 4.83 digs per set in the month of November.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Hali Hillegas, Iowa State, RFr., L, Charles City, Iowa/Charles City

• Led the Cyclones in digs twice en route to a 2-0 week.
• In the win over No. 5 Texas, the libero posted 26 digs, marking her 14th-straight match with at least 10 digs on the season and fourth match with at least 25 digs, all of which have come in Big 12 play.
• On the week, averaged 5.00 digs per set, the most among conference freshman.
• Recorded 19 digs at Oklahoma last Wednesday.
