Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul in the Turkish Women’s League are the top dogs in the league following the end of the season and have advanced to the semifinals of the league where they will face off against Fenerbahce. With their team’s growing successes, the players have been posting a number of odd, funny videos on their Twitter page.
In one video you will see American Jordan Larson bowling down her teammates, rolling a strike, in another, they appear to be rowing a canoe – all with the hashtag #TeamJordan.This lighthearted spirit for the team has worked for them coming into the final stretch of the league as they continue to take down teams with ease.
Their success also runs outside of the Turkish League as they are set to take on SSC Palmberg Schwerin in the semifinals of the CEV Cup on March 13. To get to the semifinals, Eczacibasi has proven their strong lineup. The team features Tijana Boskovic, Rachael Adams, Jordan Larson and Busra Kiricli to name a few of their star players.
