Today, we came across these gems that have been hiding on the Iowa State Athletics volleyball channel for 3 weeks, and we are so very, very thankful for this Turkey Day entertainment. The Cyclones have won 7 of their last 8 games, including a 3-2 victory over Baylor on Wednesday that should seal their invite for the NCAA Championship tournament.
Sophomore outside hitter Jess Schaben, the team’s leading scorer this season with 3.35 kills/set, loaded up her car with some of Iowa State’s top volleyball stars to talk and sing their way through Ames, Iowa (and hit every curb in town). Among the participants are Morgan Kuhrt, the team’s second-leading hitter; and Suzanne Horner, half of the Cyclones’ two-headed monster at setter. Schaben’s fellow sophomore Hannah Bailey and defensive specialist Monique Harris also took a ride.
Making a guest appearance in each of the videos was Jess’ dog, Betty, in a typically-fabulous outfit.
