Class of 2021 outside hitter Teresa Garza has verbally committed to the University of Wyoming women’s volleyball program.
Garza is a sophomore at Santa Fe High School in Texas, where she has helped the team to a 7-2 record. As a freshman she attended Alvin High School and logged 262 kills (3.5 per set) on a .158 hitting percentage, 89 digs (1.2 per set), 28 blocks (0.4 per set) and 22 aces (0.3 per set).

Wyoming is off to a 12-6 start to the 2018 season and is 4-2 as a member of the Mountain West Conference and at one point were on the cusp of being ranked in the VolleyMob Top 25 Power Rankings. Last season they went 17-14 and 12-6 in the MWC.
