UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State women’s volleyball team is partnering with the Side-Out Foundation for its annual Dig Pink® Night on October 26 when they host Indiana at 7:30 p.m.

Penn State, who will be donning pink uniforms, is asking all fans to wear pink to help bring awareness for breast cancer research. The Nittany Lions will be auctioning off the pink game-worn uniforms in a silent auction format during the match, and will also be raffling off select youth-sized pink uniforms. Proceeds will go towards the Nittany Lions’ Dig Pink® Campaign goal of $5,000.

This year, thousands of teams from around the country will be participating in The Side-Out Foundation’s Dig Pink® Movement.  Middle school, high school, college, club, and adult teams will promote breast health education in the community as well as raise funds to further research.

Through youth education and empowerment, The Side-Out Foundation unifies the volleyball community to drive change in the way that breast cancer is treated.

Dig Pink® is a nationwide movement to provide meaningful and impactful experiences for athletes while inspiring and empowering them to come together in support of the stage IV breast cancer community. Each year, hundreds of teams across the country (and some overseas) participate in Dig Pink®

If fans are unable to attend, donations to the Penn State women’s volleyball campaign can be made HERE.
