Stanford embarks on its first road trip of the season this upcoming weekend when it travels to Southern California for matches against CSU Northridge, Texas Christian, Irvine Valley College and No. 5 Hawaii.
The Cardinal (5-2, 1-1 Pac-12) opens the road trip on Saturday against CSU Northridge (1-2) in Los Angeles at 2 p.m. PT, before heading to Irvine for three matches on Sunday. On Sunday, Stanford takes on Texas Christian (7-3) at 11 a.m. for the first meeting between the two programs.
At 1 p.m., Stanford faces Irvine Valley College (1-2) before wrapping up the road trip against fifth-ranked Hawaii (12-2) at 3 p.m. Stanford has never faced Irvine Valley College, and is 0-2 all-time against Hawaii. Live statistics will not be available for this weekend’s matches.
Stanford opened its season on March 4-5 with wins over Santa Clara, Cal Poly, Saint Mary’s and Pacific, extending its winning streak to five with a win over Utah on March 10. Stanford dropped its first two duals of the season on March 11 with losses against Saint Mary’s and California.
Following the Cardinal’s trip to Southern California, Stanford hosts San Francisco and San Jose State on April 7 before hosting California on April 11. Stanford’s match against California at 4 p.m. PT will broadcast live on Pac-12 Networks.
