After two seasons with Vakifbank Istanbul in Turkey, American Kim Hill will part ways with the club, heading to Italy to play for Imoco Volley Conegliano in the Italian Serie A1 League for the 2017-18 season.

Earlier this year, Vakifbank won their third Champions League title in club history over Imoco in three sets. Hill was named to the Dream Team of the tournament as one of the best outside hitters at the competition. In addition to the CEV Champions Leauge, Vakifbank took the FIVB Club World Championship and Turkish League title last season. At the 2014 Women’s Volleyball FIVB World Championships, Hill was a part of the winning team while also earning MVP honors at the tournament.

Imoco will not be the first Italian club that Hill has joined forces with, as she played with Igor Gorgonzola Novara in the 2014-15 season.

Hill will join American’s Kelsey Robinson and Nicole Fawcett on the Imoco team.

You know something is special when saying goodbye to it hurts so bad… Words can’t express what these last 2 seasons with Vakifbank have meant to me. Through plenty of ups and downs, there’s no group I’d have rather gone to battle with. I truly gained a family. Thanks to all the fans for the incredible support, I will miss everyone with all my heart! ❤️
