Bellevue, one of the top schools in the NAIA classification in 2017, has garnered a pair of commitments for their class of 2019 in setter Riley Burcham and middle blocker Brooklyn Hundt.

A 5’9″ native of Georgetown, Texas, Burcham will be a senior with Gateway College Prep and also played for Max Performance – but is transitioning to Austin Juniors next season. In her most recent year with Gateway College Prep as a setter and front row attacker, Burcham logged 339 assists (2.9 per set), 283 digs (2.4 per set), 216 kills (1.9 per set), 72 aces (0.6 per set) and 43 blocks (0.4 per set) according to her MaxPreps profile. She also owns a 7’5″ standing reach, an 8’10” block touch and a 9’1″ approach jump.

Joining Burcham and hoping for plenty of connections in the future is 5’9″ middle hitter Brooklyn Hundt. A native of Neola, Iowa, Hundt will be a senior in the fall at Tri-Center High School. On the club side, Hundt plays with Premier Volleyball and owns a 7’5″ standing reach, a 9′ foot block touch and 9′ approach jump. Some of her highlights can be seen here via her Hudl profile.

In terms of the roster that they will join, Bellevue currently has just one setter (who is a freshman) on the team’s 2018 edition along with four middle blockers (who are all underclassmen).

Bellevue is coming off of a 30-13 season in 2017 in which they made the NAIA National Championships and ended the year ranked 19th in the NAIA rankings.
