Class of 2018 OH Marlanna Bozicevich Commits to George Mason

Class of 2018 recruit Marlanna Bozicevich has committed to the George Mason University women’s volleyball program. A 5’10” outside hitter, Bozicevich joins the program from the state of California.

A senior at San Marcos High School, Bozicevich helped her school to a 33-2 record in her final season with the Knights in earning a state tournament appearance.

Individually, Bozicevich recorded 404 kills (4.3 per set) on a .383 hitting percentage, 145 digs (1.5 per set), 65 aces (0.7 per set) and 31 blocks (0.3 per set) this season according to her MaxPreps profile. It was her third year of varsity with numbers rising each season.

George Mason finished the 2017 season with a 6-21 record, including a 2-12 mark in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). They return three players who can fill the outside hitter position with two freshmen joining Bozicevich as newcomers at the position for 2018.
