Class of 2020 middle blocker/hitter Lauren Valentic has committed to the University of Buffalo women’s volleyball program.

Valentic is currently in her junior year at Peters Township High School in McMurray, Pennsylvania. As a sophomore in her 2017 campaign, she was named to the 2017 Class 4A Section 2 All-Star team.

In terms of club ball, Valentic plays with Renaissance Volleyball and the 18 Black team. Standing at 6’2″, highlights of her play can be seen here via her Hudl profile.

Buffalo is off to a 6-3 start to the 2018 season with matches this weekend at American, vs. #7 Penn State and vs. Howard. They went 15-13 a season prior and 8-8 as a member of the Mid-American Conference. Both middles on their team are juniors, meaning they are set to depart prior to Valentic’s arrival for the fall of 2020.
