Class of 2020 middle blocker and right side Alexis Mettille has committed to the Bowling Green State University women’s volleyball program.

Mettille is a junior at Canfield High School in Ohio who last season as a sophomore made All-District Second Team. So far this season, according to her MaxPreps profile, she has notched 163 kills on a .335 hitting percentage, 70 digs, 67 blocks, 49 aces and 17 assists along with a .930 reception percentage in 22 matches.

Standing at 6’1″, Mettille also plays with Infinity Volleyball Club and the 16 Green team. Her most recent video highlights via her Sports Recruits page can be seen here.

Bowling Green is off to a 12-8 start to the 2018 season and a 6-1 record as a member of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Last season they went 17-12 (13-3, MAC) and made the NIVC Tournament. Additionally, Bowling Green has four players who can fill the middle position and two as opposites, though four of that group are set to graduate prior to Mettille’s arrival as a freshman in the fall of 2020.
