During the first set of Florida’s sweep over Texas A&M, the Gator’s strong 6’8″ middle blocker Rachael Kramer had a small ankle injury scare that kept her out of most of the first set.

The injury occurred as Kramer floated left on a block, landing on Carli Snyder’s right foot, rolling her left ankle. Kramer ended up walking off the court on her own but remained off the court for the remainder of the first set. Kramer then returned to the match in the second set to help the Gators to the sweep. Upon Kramer’s return, she posted seven kills and four blocks in Florida’s win.

On the year, Kramer has recorded 241 kills for an average of 2.90 kills per set. On defense, Kramer has blocked 98 balls for an average of 1.18 blocks per set, sitting in second behind Rhamat Alhassan on the Gators squad.

Florida has just two matches left on their SEC slate, prior to the NCAA Selection Show where they will find out their seeding in the NCAA Tournament. On the year, Florida is 23-1 and 15-1 in SEC play, losing just one match to Kentucky earlier this season.
