Class of 2021 recruit Camryn Haworth has committed to the Indiana women’s volleyball program. A setter, right side and outside hitter, Haworth is the first 2021 recruit noted in the VolleyMob Recruiting Database to commit to the Hoosiers and head coach Steve Aird.

A freshman at Fishers High School in Indiana, Haworth joined the varsity team in year one and helped her school to a 24-4 season that ended in an IHSAA Class 4A Volleyball State Tournament appearance. Individually she totaled 142 kills (1.7 per set) on a .231 hitting percentage, 78 digs (0.9 per set), 44 blocks (0.5 per set), 26 aces (0.3 per set) and four assists according to her MaxPreps profile.

Haworth also plays with Team Indiana Volleyball and the Elite 16 team, where she plays setter more often than in her first season at Fishers. Video of her play can be seen below via her YouTube channel:

Of course, Aird is looking to make an impact on the recruiting trail for Indiana, who finished last season at 12-20 and 1-19 in the Big Ten. He did so in his last stop at Maryland when he hauled in the 16th ranked class in 2016 and a top 10 class in 2017, as Haworth becomes his first step toward a highly touted class in 2021.
