Diatec Trentino has continued their winning ways since taking down Azimut Modena three weeks ago in an upset while Modena boosts their score to be tied for second in the league following a sweep over Sir Safety Conad Perugia in week 12. Biosi Indexa Sora picked up their first win of the season with a five-setter over BCC Castellana Grotte.

Azimut Modena swept through Sir Safety in week 12 to move into a tie for second place. The team was led by Tine Urnaut with 13 points while Earvin Ngapeth and Giulio Sabbi added 12 and 11, respectively.
In the past two weeks, Cucine Lube Civitanova has gone to five sets in each of their matches, which does not give them any points toward the league. They still remain #1 but could begin to see pressure from Sir Safety and Azimut Modena in the coming weeks. On top of their Italian League matches, Cucine Lube made it to the finals of the 2017 FIVB Men’s Club World Championships where they fell at the hands of Zenit Kazan after posting an unbeaten record on their road to the finals.
From the bottom of the pack, Biosi Indexa Sora picked up their first win of the season against BCC Castellana Grotte in week 11. In the five-set win, Dusan Petkovic led the way with 32 points along with the MVP nomination while Rasmus Breuning Nielsen added another 20.
