In the midst of financial troubles with Dinamo Krasnodar, outside hitter Ivan Komarov has made the decision to transfer out of the club. Komarov made the transfer in the final days of the interim transfer period to Ziraat Bank Sports Club in Turkey, where he will play through the end of the season.

“I feel happy to be in a club like Ziraat Bank that has goals in the league and in Europe. Here I want to achieve the achievement by providing the contribution from the elimination,” said Komarov.

The decision to move clubs came from Krasnodar not being able to financially support their coaching staff and players, as the club looms in the thought of bankruptcy. Krasnodar was looking to take in 70 million rubles (1,179,963.40 USD) from another club, however it would not come close to the wages that the club owed to their staff, plus overhead fees. Komarov is still unsure if the club will be able to fully pay off their debts to the staff and players.
