UC San Diego earned a tough fought win over Concordia, handing the Eagles their first loss of the 2018 season. Tanner Syftestad posted his first double-double since his collegiate debut with 24 kills and 11 digs. His only other double-double was also against Concordia.

An undefeated and top-ranked Long Beach State men’s volleyball team swept Stanford on Saturday night. Kyle Ensing and TJ DeFalco both had 12 kills, hitting .385 and .192, respectively. Nick Amado also had an impressive offensive performance, hitting .667 on nine swings with seven kills.
