King University outside hitter Eddie Moushikhian has been named the Conference Carolinas Men’s Volleyball Player of the Week for matches played from Jan. 30 – Feb. 5, the Conference announced today.
A senior from Alpharetta, Ga., Moushikhian averaged 4.17 kills per set and hit a staggering .478 to go with eight digs to lead King to a pair of Conference Carolinas sweeps.
In a 3-0 sweep of Pfeiffer, Moushikhian hit .625, which ranks ninth in school history, and put away 10 kills on 16 attacks with no errors. He would add five digs, two service aces and one block to his stat line. Moushikhian would follow that performance with a 15-kill outing against Belmont Abbey.
Moushikhian is averaging 2.22 kills per set on the season.
