When the Minnesota women’s volleyball team fell last weekend in the national semi-finals to eventual NCAA champions Stanford, it marked the final collegiate game for 6 players.
Minnesota’s senior class this year is the second-winningest senior class in program history. They won 78.6% of the games they played in their careers, second only to the class that wrapped their playing careers in 2005.
The class included 3 players honored by the AVCA as All-Americans: Sarah Wilhite, Samantha Seliger-Swenson, and Hannah Tapp.
Below, Minnesota’s underclassmen thank and honor their senior teammates at the end of their careers. Also included below are videos from the AVCA All-America ceremony and the National Player of the Year ceremony: awarded to Sarah Wilhite.
