The matches are pretty spread out over the season, but a majority come in the first month. In fact, 11 of the 26 broadcasts come in the opening month that features all sorts of non-conference ranked matches.
Having BYU in the conference is helpful in adding to the numbers with BYU TV. Spectrum OCSports and NBC Sports Chicago also pitch in. Overall though, the Pac-12 Network continues to be very beneficial to growing the sport of volleyball both on the men’s and women’s side. In total, 14 of the 26 televised matches come on the Pac-12 Network.
The MPSF has six of their seven teams in the league ranked in the preseason AVCA Poll with #3 BYU at the top as the defending National Runner-Up.
