Four rounds into the NCAA Tournament, the Big Ten and Pac-12 Conferences have proved their powerhouse status. The Big Ten has a 19-6 record in the tournament, while the Pac-12 sits at 14-7.
Those 19 wins for the Big Ten match the win total for every other conference in the NCAA minus the Pac-12 and Big 12 – that accounts for 29 total conferences. The Big Ten is also a tournament-best 68-27 in total sets so far with 13 perfect 3-0 sweeps.
The Big Ten, of course, still has two teams alive in the tournament out of six to earn NCAA berths. That’s #1 Nebraska and #2 Minnesota, who will play in opposite semifinals this Thursday. The Pac-12 is still represented by #6 Stanford (who plays Minnesota) and the Big 12 has #4 Texas still involved.
